Tommy had a wonderful time - even though he refused to put on shoes or a shirt...we figured it just wasn't worth the fight.
The weather was blessedly beautiful - and that is nothing small considering the 25 days of rain we had in June!!
Oh and the cake was a hit...it tasted good - and everyone recognized it was a train (exactly what I was going for)
All in all it was a great day, with some friends and family - not too many, not too few....
I do wish I got pictures of all the fun they had - the kids playing in the bouncy house, the adults talking and relaxing. It was one of those days that I would gladly do all over again, a million times (well....except the part where I got sick the next day and still had to clean up all the mess!!)

Looks like he had a blast! Boys will be boys, with refusing to wear clothes and shoes! ;)

What a great birthday! Funny that he chose to wear his 'birthday suit'!
You did a great job on that cake, Liz. I'm so impressed! :)
Great job on the cake and so sad we missed the party. Natey would have loved to play with Tommy again.

Looks like so much fun! :)
Great job on the cake! I made a train cake this year too, but I did it with mini loaf pans. I was too intimidated to try to make it the right shape otherwise!
Oh so much fun to be had and what a cute cake! You are a woman of many talents. :)
What a fab party! The simple ones are my favorite. :-) (Cause those are the only ones I throw! HA!) Great job on the train cake!
Happy Birthday to Tommy. :-)
